Welcome Back!
With thanksgiving, we are re-opened
following the rebuild after the fire.
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord,
“plans to prosper you and not to harm you,
plans to give you hope and a future.” - Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV)
MOVING IN!
Well, not only have we rejoiced in beginning to worship together again, and fellowship once more in our newly rebuilt space, we are beginning to welcome back Building Use Partners, including Boy Scouts and AA. And we are once more able to base our community ministries in our building, including our Quilters and outreach projects like Backpack Buddies (through Community Care Connections), whereby it is our privilege to serve at risk youth identified by our local schools and youth and family shelters. We can’t wait to discover what other ministries the Holy Spirit may inspire!
As you can see, we have a fresh, new, wonderful up to date space to share with the community, and from which to base the ministries to which God calls us. There are, as is to be expected, expenses not entirely covered by insurance, and your generous financial gifts are always gratefully received. Even more, we value your presence with us for worship, Bible study and ministry. If you don’t have a church home, we welcome you to be part of our faith community, where we learn and grow in God’s love together as we serve Jesus by serving our neighbor.

In the meantime…
We invite you to find out more about who we are as a neighborhood Christian church in Tacoma’s South End, and we invite you to fully participate in all we do in service of God and neighbor, including joining us for in person worship.
